Outcome: Work completed
Comments: On 5/22/26 at 726pm, AEO Hamrick and Nichols arrived at location after calling c/p with no response. AEOs observed a tarp on the roof and part of the front of house under the gutter was exposed. Location has a history of raccoons going into the house. AEOs knocked and met with an unidentified individual who stated he "chopped" the raccoon up and threw it away. He stated the raccoon must have gotten into the house through a hole in the ceiling and the raccoon was aggressive so he hit it. He further advised that he is just a friend of the person who lives there and did not provide his name or contact info. AEOs then acknowledged the issue/concern of the multiple holes allowing raccoons to come into the house which the man understood. AEOs consulted supervision and then tried to ask the individual if the head of the raccoon was still intact for testing and he advised it was not. When AEOs expressed the concern for rabies, he pointed to the gloves and mask he was wearing and stated that he was "fine" and told AEOs to have a good day. AEOs then went to the rear trash can and were able to find the raccoon which appeared to be intact. Raccoon was removed. Forward to ACI Bevans. TT 180482.
